Congratulations! With her project “VetCam Berlin – Streaming aus dem tiermedizinischen Alltag” Fabienne Eichler won the poster competition of Freie Universität's theme week on teaching in June.

News from Jul 10, 2023

Members of the university voted online from 21 entries over several days. The majority of the votes went to the VetCam project, which allows students to follow live animal examinations via video transmission and ask questions without having to be there in person. You can find the poster as a video here.

The Department of Veterinary Medicine was represented twice in the competition of the Dahlem Center for Academic Teaching (DCAT): in addition to the VetCam Berlin project, also by a poster by Dr. Samira Schlesinger about the Veterinary Skills Net.

More information can be found in an article about the theme week on teaching on campus.leben as well as on the website of the “Market of Opportunities” of the DCAT, which organized the theme week on teaching.

Lecturers who would like to use VetCam in their courses, please contact the VetCam team by e-mail at vetcam@vetmed.fu-berlin.de.
