The center for Infection Medicine at the faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Freie Universität Berlin encloses as a virtual center the institutes both from the RvO and TZR.

In detail these are:

• Institute of Virology (WE05)
• Institute of Immunology (WE06)
• Institute of Microbiology and Epizootics (WE07)
• Institute for Animal Hygiene and Environmental Health (WE10)
• Institute of Parasitology and Tropical Veterinary Medicine (WE13)

Furthermore the Institute of Food Safety and Food Hygiene is associated wih the Center for Infection Medicine.

The institutes belonging to the Center for Infection Medicine collaborate organisational as well as regarding technical-content in the fields of  infectious medical experimental science, diagnostic and teaching.
