Das Institut für Immunologie ist Sprecher des Graduiertenkollegs 3096 "One Health approach to soil-transmitted helminths". Es wird durch die DFG gefördert und startet am 1. April 2026. Beteiligt sind wir mit den Projekten P4 ("Mechanisms of ascarids-host gut microbiome interactions", Prof. Hartmann) und P5 ("Age-dependent IFN-γ competence in Ascaris infection", Dr. Rausch).
Mit dem Projekt P02 ("Analysis of a non-invasive method for determining immune and stress-related responses in intestinal infections", Prof. Hartmann) sind wir außerdem in das Graduiertenkolleg 3051 "Assessment of Behaviour and Stress Responses to Understand and Improve Veterinary Infectious Disease Models", kurz 3RTG, eingebunden.
Außerdem war das Institut für Immunologie Sprecher des DFG Graduiertenkollegs „Parasite Infections: From Experimental Models to Natural Systems“ (GRK 2046) (2015 - 2024) und leitete die Projekte B4, B5 and C9.
Desweiteren ist es am DFG Schwerpunktprogramm „Physics of Parasitism“ (SPP 2332) mit dem Projekt P13 "Physical principles of parasite-host interactions in Giardia muris infection" beteiligt (Dr. Rausch).
