Psychosocial counseling at the support.point
Exam nerves? Stress? Concentration problems? Lost in everyday university life? Doubts about your choice of subject? Procrastination?
The FU offers easily accessible support on all topics related to mental health at the departments as part of support.points. The psychologists at support.points help to clarify concerns, find initial solutions and refer you to support services. The consultations are confidential and the staff are bound to secrecy. Discussions can also be held anonymously on request. There are support.points at ten locations at the FU until August 2024, which are assigned to a respective department, but can be visited by all FU members (students, doctoral candidates and employees of all departments). Talks can also be held online.
The School of Veterinary Medicine has two support.points, which are run by psychologist Beate Benjamin. You can simply drop by during the open consultation hours without an appointment. Please check the website in advance to see if there are any last-minute changes! If you would prefer a fixed appointment, you can book this yourself via the website.
