Primary Care
Our focus is directed at challenging cases, by offering highly specialised and state of the art services. Therefore, we have to limit our resources in respect to routine health care, including vaccinations, and treatment of minor illnesses.
Specialty Services
Many of our patients at the Companion Animal Hospital are referred by their veterinarians for evaluation by our faculty specialists for complicated medical or surgical problems.
Anesthesia
General anesthesia for diagnostic procedures and surgery; pain management.
Cardiology
State-of-the-art diagnosis of cardiac abnormalities such as arrhythmias, implantation of cardiac pacemakers, repair of cardiac defects (surgically and by internal cardiac catheterization).
Dentistry
Diagnosis and treatment of general diseases of the mouth, cervical line lesions where enamel and teeth have been eroded, fractured teeth requiring extractions, broken teeth requiring root canal therapy, and preventive cleanings.
Dermatology
Diagnosis, therapy, and follow-up care for animals with skin disease or skin problems that are commonly caused by allergies, parasites, infections, or hormonal imbalances.
Emergency Critical Care
The hospital is equipped to receive and treat medical emergencies around-the-clock.
Exotic Pets
A multidisciplinary approach to medical and surgical care for a diversity of privately owned, nondomestic reptiles, birds, and small mammals
Imaging
Diagnostic imaging procedures for dogs, cats, birds and other exotic species. Our equipment includes both computed and digital radiography acquisition devices, fluoroscopy systems, multiple ultrasound units, a 16-slice computed tomography scanner, and state of the art endoscopy systems
Internal Medicine
Diagnosis and treatment of serious health problems including metabolic diseases such as diabetes; infectious diseases; and endocrine, hematological, gastrointestinal, liver, renal, and respiratory disorders.
Neurology
Management of brain, spinal cord, nerve, and muscle problems that can result in a variety of conditions, including epilepsy, concussions, ruptured discs, spinal cord injuries, head trauma, and brain tumors.
Oncology
A team approach to detect and treat complex cancers in dogs and cats. Radiation therapy, chemotherapy, surgery.
Ophthalmology
Diagnosis and treatment of problems of the eye, including state-of-the-art cataract removals.
Orthopedic Surgery & Traumatology
The Orthopedic and Traumatology Surgery Service treats dogs and cats with injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system, while focusing on the use of minimally invasive techniques, such as arthroscopy and MIPO fracture repair
Reproductive Medicine
The reproductive medicine services for companion animals - primarily dogs - including breeding management, transcervical insemination, semen freezing and infertility examinations is provided by ReproKlinik
Surgical reproductive cases, such as pyometra, caesarian section and mammary tumors are treated in the Small Animal Clinic
Soft Tissue Surgery
Surgery of the abdomen, thorax, and reconstructive surgery using modern surgical techniques that include laparoscopic and thoracoscopic procedures.
