The ground floor of the library features two rooms to students and their kids.

Children's room

Our children's room gives kids a place to play, and their parents a place to study and work. This way student parents may relax a little, and give their children children an occupation while they flip though textbooks or prepare for the next lession.

The room was created within the framework of “vetmed4family” by the Department of Vetenary Science. Thanks to many generous donations by members of the department and the Freunden der Bibliothek, the room was equipped with a sofa, a desk, and of course many toys, picture book, and plush animals.

Nursing room

The library provides a nursing room to satify the needs of todlers. The room features a changing table, seating and lying options, and is thus a comfortable retreat for parents and their children.
