Healthy gut with CBD?

A team of researchers investigates the anti-inflammatory effect of cannabidiol - with groundbreaking observations

In the course of the legalization of cannabis, there is still a great need for research into the effects of the ingredients on the body. For the non-psychoactive cannabidiol, it has now been shown that it has anti-inflammatory properties that promote intestinal health. Researchers from the Barrier Research Group at the Institute of Veterinary Physiology at Freie Universität Berlin, led by Prof. Dr. Salah Amasheh, have analyzed this at the molecular level in a project funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) and are presenting their findings in the journal "Materials Today Bio" (https://authors.elsevier.com/sd/article/S2590-0064(23)00268-5).
