The kick-off meeting on 29 May 2026 marked an excellent start to the 3RTG project. Project leaders, coordinators, and PhD students came together to gain a clear overview of the project's goals, scope, qualification programme, and next steps.
During the event, the PhD students introduced themselves and presented their planned research projects. They also received guidance on the qualification programme, along with valuable insights to support their academic and professional development. The agenda was further enriched by a speaker who shared her personal experiences and career path, as well as by a presentation introducing the new Young 3R Collective Berlin. Together, these contributions offered practical perspectives and inspiration for the journey ahead.
Beyond the formal programme, the event offered a valuable opportunity for everyone to get to know one another, establish initial connections, and build a strong sense of community. Good food, informal conversations, and a variety of games created a relaxed atmosphere and rounded off the afternoon, encouraging team bonding and helping participants connect on a more personal level.
Overall, the event was clearly a success setting a positive and collaborative tone for the work ahead.
