DESCRIPTION: Eleven PhD Students of the RTG 2046 together with 7 supervisor
 s will go on a field work workshop to Namibia in Afrika. With a combination
  of lectures\, seminars and practical work\, they will learn how a field st
 udy has to be prepared\, organized and conducted. Also\, they will learn to
  face wild life animals to acquire and analyse samples from wild animals. A
 ll PhD students had to apply for this workshop with a brief proposal for a 
 small project in Namibia. For future scientists in Parasitology\, field wor
 k might be an important necessary tool to learn. In at least two more meeti
 ngs\, the Africa workshop in March 2023 will be prepared in detail.
