Workshop ECVPH on monitoring and surveillance approaches in animal populations and food-production chains
The aim of this workshop is to build a common understanding of the definitions, application, technical and practical implementation as well as communication of monitoring and surveillance systems (MOSS) used for animal diseases as well as food-borne hazards. After completion of the workshop, the participants are expected to understand MOSS objectives, the underlying legal framework as well as strength and weaknesses of different approaches, and the roles that various stakeholders have in MOSS activities.
