Topics include the theory of statistical hypothesis testing, basic data management, descriptive statistics, 1-sample tests, 2-sample tests, correlation, simple linear models (ANOVA, linear regression) and simple logistic regression. The course is run as a mix of short theory sessions and small group exercises done using the software package SPSS. Scripts to run the exercises in STATA & R can be made available on demand.
